RERUM demo at the Researcher’s Night organised at FORTH

The RERUM team of FORTH participated at the 2016 Researcher’s Night organised at FORTH on September 30, 2016.  Researcher’s night is an open public event that is being organised for 11 years and institutes all over Europe are opening their doors to the public to demonstrate their results. At FORTH many citizens, students, and young kids attended the event that was organised at the central building of FORTH.

Research teams from all institutes of FORTH participated in the event showing their results to the attendees. RERUM participated with a demo of the overall framework, showing also the extension of the framework to control and dim two lights. Moreover, the smart transportation demo was also presented and attracted a lot of interest of the participants. Dr. Alexandros Fragkiadakis (FORTH) and Dr. Stefanos Papadakis (FORTH) were present at the booth, explaining the importance of RERUM for improving the security of smart applications and how RERUM can help citizens protect their privacy.
